Category Manager

The Category Manager is responsible for leading the strategic sourcing and procurement of labour subcontractors for MEP installation works, heavy equipment hire, and material transportation services across multiple business units. The role ensures best value for money, supplier performance, contract governance, and timely support to project delivery while maintaining compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Sourcing
Lead end-to-end sourcing activities for labour subcontractors supporting MEP installation projects.
Manage procurement of heavy equipment hire, including cranes, excavators, forklifts, boom lifts, generators, compressors, and other construction equipment.
Source and manage material transportation and logistics services, including local and inter-emirate transport.
Develop category strategies to optimize cost, quality, delivery, and supplier performance.
Conduct market analysis and identify new sourcing opportunities.
