They collaborate with other departments, community resources, and patient families to ensure comprehensive and professional care.
These nurses are proficient in a wide range of clinical tasks, including patient assessment, monitoring, medication administration, wound care, diagnostic procedures, and documentation.
They are also skilled in non-invasive care, including education on long-term ventilation, and are competent in managing infusion pumps, IV and central lines, feeding tubes, catheters, and surgical drains.
