Company DescriptionEstablished in 2006, Masdar (Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company) is a global clean energy leader, transforming how the world produces and consumes energy through bold innovation and commercial excellence.Masdar is a clean energy investor, developer and operator, advancing renewable energy projects across key markets and technologies, with a global project portfolio capacity to date of over 65 gigawatts (GW).Jointly owned by TAQA, ADNOC and Mubadala, Masdar is driving the scale-up of renewables worldwide, targeting a portfolio capacity of 100GW by 2030.Job DescriptionTo lead and manage technical and techno-economic analyses, design aspects and technical project management for Masdar Photovoltaic (PV) projects in less complex nature in terms of partnership structure, project structure, geographical location, technology wise, risk exposure etc.. The role involves strategic planning, resource allocation, and ensuring project alignment with organizational goals. The Technical Manager, PV will provide technical guidance and leadership throughout the development lifecycles. As part of an integrated project team, to prepare and agree on project specifications, budgets and timescales with contractors, clients or other stakeholders, and to define basic design, and create or review test procedures for PV plant components such as foundation, PV modules and converters.QualificationsPreferred Qualifications: • M Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering • Graduate degree or MSc in electrical engineering or industrial engineering is an asset Preferred Experience: • 6-8 years of experience in the PV industry (preferably with an IPP/EPC, engineering firm or technical consultant) or equivalent experience Job-Specific Skills: • Knowledge of PV market players and PV components • Experienced user in PVSys and basic knowledge in using AutoCAD • Battery Storage knowledge and/or experience would be desirable • Exceptional communication skills and able to work in a dynamic, fast paced, diverse environment. • Ability to prioritize actions and work within a diverse team • Ability to work in a dynamic fast paced, diverse environment • Project management skills and planning and organizing skills • Attention to detailAdditional InformationAs part of the application process, we will collect, store and process personal information about you.Masdar will use your personal information in accordance with our Candidate Privacy Notice, which provides details on the purposes for which your data is processed.
