Inside Sales Officer - UAE National

Job DescriptionSynopsisWe are looking for a driven and results-oriented Inside Sales Officer to join our commercial team. This role plays a critical part in driving early-stage sales activity, identifying opportunities, qualifying leads, and converting them into revenue-generating accounts. AccountabilitiesDrive new business generation through outbound prospecting (calls, email, virtual channels)Qualify leads and convert them into sales opportunities and active accountsManage a portfolio of low-touch B2B accounts, driving activation, engagement, and upsellExecute structured outreach campaigns across multiple lead sources (events, referrals, dormant accounts, web enquiries)Deliver against key KPIs including:Lead response timeConversion ratiosRevenue per accountMaintain and update Salesforce CRM with accurate activity tracking and pipeline dataPromote and sell commercial offers, private fares, and incentive campaignsIdentify trends (customer objections, pricing, competitors) and share insights with stakeholdersReactivate dormant accounts by analysing historical activity and re-engaging with targeted propositionsEscalate high-value opportunities to Field Sales with full context to ensure seamless handoverSupport onboarding of new accounts, including access setup and system enablementQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or related fieldMinimum 4+ years’ experience in inside sales, B2B sales, or customer serviceStrong experience in lead generation, nurturing, and conversionHands-on experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred)Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skillsStrong commercial awareness and ability to identify revenue opportunitiesAdditional InformationEtihad Airways is more than the UAE’s national airline - we’re shaping the future of global aviation.
