PLATER / FABRICATOR

• Perform fabrication activities in line with the work instruction providing the best fit for welders.
• Provide assistance for repair & fabrication of cradles, gangway, dry berth & shiplift plat form rails
• Fabrication works for pipe lines, sewage & fresh water tankers and skip loader.
• Skip bucket & waste dumping bins fabrication works.
• Maintain housekeeping of work place at required standards.
• Ensure appropriate use of tools and machinery, preventing excessive wear and tear and breakdowns.
• Report any malfunction of tools and machinery to immediate supervisor.
• Take initiative to pursue self-development through on-job-training/education.
• Follow the day-to-day operations related to own job to ensure continuity of work.
• Work within allocated timescale to meet department targets
• Attend any training for any activity required by the department.
• Perform other related duties or assignments as directed
